Draft for review. These terms are implementation copy for the alpha service. They should be reviewed before broad public launch or paid execution.
Service Overview
Adagio provides a visual interface and related tools for building, saving, sharing, and running bioinformatics pipelines. The editor is intended to remain free to use. A free account may be required to save pipelines. Payment may be required when users run pipelines through the graphical user interface.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate account information and promptly tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Your Content And Data
You retain ownership of pipeline specs, uploaded data, outputs, and related content you submit to Adagio. You grant Adagio permission to host, process, copy, transmit, and display that content as needed to provide and secure the service.
Research Use
Adagio is research software. It is not intended to provide medical advice, clinical diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or regulated clinical decision support. You are responsible for validating workflows, parameters, outputs, and downstream conclusions.
Payments For Graphical Runs
When paid graphical pipeline execution becomes available, pricing, taxes, usage limits, cancellation rules, failed-run handling, refund terms, and billing-provider details should be presented before a run is started. Local CLI execution and exported pipeline files are separate from paid graphical execution.
Acceptable Use
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. You may not use Adagio to violate the law, infringe others' rights, attack systems, distribute malware, mine cryptocurrency, process data you are not authorized to process, or bypass usage and security controls.
Availability And Changes
Adagio is under active development. The service may change, degrade, or become temporarily unavailable. We may update features, policies, limits, prices, and supported workflows as the product evolves.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if needed to protect Adagio, other users, service providers, or the public, or if we believe these terms or the acceptable use rules have been violated.
