Research-data notice. Do not upload protected health information, regulated clinical data, or identifiable human genomic data unless Adagio has a written agreement with you that explicitly allows that use.
Who We Are
Adagio is operated by Cymis Benefit Corporation, an Arizona benefit corporation.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information created while using Adagio, and limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
- Contact information, such as an email address submitted to the waitlist.
- Account information, such as name, email address, and authentication identifiers.
- Pipeline information, including saved pipeline names, descriptions, graph specs, layout, plugin metadata, and provenance.
- Run information, including selected inputs, parameters, logs, status events, outputs, runtime configuration, and error reports.
- Payment and billing metadata if paid graphical runs become available. Adagio does not currently collect payment-card details.
- Security and usage telemetry, such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, request paths, and service diagnostics.
How We Use Information
- Provide the editor, accounts, saved pipelines, pipeline execution, downloads, and support.
- Maintain provenance so results can be connected to inputs, parameters, software, and execution environments.
- Operate waitlist, account, billing, transactional, and service-notification emails.
- Secure the service, prevent abuse, debug failures, and improve reliability.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and acceptable use rules.
Research Data And Sensitive Data
Adagio is intended for research workflows. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, Adagio is not intended to receive protected health information, electronic protected health information, regulated clinical records, or identifiable human genomic data. Users are responsible for confirming that they have the rights and approvals needed to upload and process their data.
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate Adagio, such as hosting, authentication, email, analytics, observability, storage, security, and payment providers. We may also share information when required by law, to protect the service, or at your direction when you publish or share a pipeline.
AI Assistant Integration
If you install and authorize the official Adagio plugin, Adagio may send pipeline names, descriptions, graph structure, layout, catalog metadata, action specifications, compatibility results, validation findings, and information you explicitly request to the assistant product and workspace you chose. The public integration is not designed to return raw biological data, unrestricted artifacts, local files, local run-output paths, access or refresh tokens, internal credentials, or unnecessary personal identifiers.
Adagio records non-sensitive integration provenance, such as the operation, operation identifier, timestamp, integration identity, and writer version. Adagio's MCP gateway does not store raw prompts. Conversation handling is governed by the assistant product and workspace you use.
Retention And Deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain backups. Retention periods vary based on the category of information, its purpose, legal requirements, and the backup lifecycle.
Hosted MCP access logs may contain correlation IDs, tool names, statuses, durations, and error classes. They exclude tokens, prompts, pipeline documents, pipeline names, biological data, and local paths. Active assistant connection records are kept while connected. After revocation, limited connection metadata may be retained as needed for security investigations, legal obligations, and backups.
Your Choices
You can request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal information by contacting root@cym.is. Some requests may require identity verification, and some information may need to be retained for security, billing, legal, or backup reasons.
You can revoke each assistant's access independently under Profile → AI assistants. Revocation is enforced by Adagio and does not depend on uninstalling the plugin.
Cookies And Analytics
Adagio uses essential cookies for authentication and service operation. Adagio does not currently use non-essential analytics or marketing cookies.
Children
Adagio is not directed to children. Users should not create accounts or submit personal information if they are under the age required to consent to use online services in their jurisdiction.
